Spicers Paper’s Custom Sheeting facilities follow a well-defined series of 12 steps , which are designed to produce consistent high quality results.

  1. The process begins by selecting the paper roll from inventory on the floor.
  2. The roll is carefully moved from its defined inventory location to the sheeter equipment using forklifts with specially designed clamps, which are engineered to minimize possible damage to the paper rolls.
  3. The paper roll is then loaded onto the sheeter.
  4. The sheeter is set up to convert the roll to exact specifications.
  5. The paper is then fed through the webbing of the sheeter, which is designed to de-curl your paper so you get perfectly flat stock.
  6. The mill quality sheeter then trims and cuts your paper to your precise specifications.
  7. The flat sheets are stacked on custom-made pallets. You choose the type of pallet: regular feed pallet or continuous feed pallet.
  8. The paper is then rigorously inspected using our 11-point program to guarantee the highest quality.
  9. The paper is jogged to one corner of the pallet.
  10. The pallets are then numbered to assure the order stays together and its delivered as a single order.
  11. The pallets are then carefully wrapped and banded for extra security during shipping.
  12. The job is delivered to your location.
