Quality Control

Our state-of-the-art sheeting facilities replicate the high quality mill sheets that you're used to purchasing from Spicers Paper. Size, edge cut, squareness, curl, flatness and presentation are important factors in the printing process which is why Spicers employs only the highest quality machines to complete your custom sheets to perfection. In addition, our sheeters use a highly polished, “super finish” on both sides of our slitter blades (ten times sharper than average blades) to reduce slitter dust and deliver the best cut possible.

After cutting, your paper goes through the 11-point quality check. Two individuals perform the inspection to insure your order is mill quality and press ready. Because we control all aspects of the process – right down to custom-made skids – you can rest assured your custom sheets will be exactly what you ordered. Our overall quality claim ratio on custom sheets is less than 0.5%.
